Appalachian Power and Wheeling Power's joint West Virginia base rate case. Filed Nov. 1, 2024 seeking $250.5 million (~14.6%). The WV PSC's Aug. 28, 2025 order granted only $76.1 million and required that current rates stay unchanged pending a securitization/refinancing plan — so there is no immediate bill increase. Parts of the decision were revised in Feb. 2026.
